FG1™ Flooring Grade Plywood is a new product introduced to the UK market and has been specifically manufactured for the flooring trade.
It exceeds industry standards and requirements for flooring grade
plywood set out by the new BS 8203:2017 Flooring Grade Plywood Guidelines.
The flooring industry recognises and acknowledges the need for a
plywood which has been manufactured to a clear specification and is
guaranteed for use across all flooring applications, without any faults.
FG1 exceeds these specifications to ensure absolute quality and
FG1 is manufactured completely on an automated system with
specialised monitoring equipment used to ensure that any defects
or anomalies in the production line are removed, ensuring every
sheet complies with our quality standard and removing any human
error from the equation entirely.
An extremely versatile panel of high grade and quality, which, like our 5.5mm version, can be used for flooring applications – but where extra thicknesses is required. With its thick top/reverse veneers being 1.3mm (before sanding), this plywood is ideal for furniture, joinery and manufacturing where precision is key.
FG1 PANELS ARE MANUFACTURED TO BOTH MEET AND SIGNIFICANTLY EXCEED CURRENT BS 8203:2017 FLOORING GRADE PLYWOOD GUIDELINES.
